I grew up on Disney. 1990s Disney was the hallmark of society's culture in many ways, and it's exactly why there are so many intensely devoted Disney fans as adults. People go as far as having Disney themed weddings because they love it so much. When I was a kid, my favorite was 101 Dalmatians. I don't know if it's because I have freckles or for another reason, but I really resonated with those cutie puppy dalmatians. Everything in my room was dalmatian themed, so I was an easy kid to buy a gift for. 

There's something timeless about Disney. Whether it's the magic of childhood nostalgia, the memorable and catchy songs, or the immense expertise that went into making each and every movie, Disney has shaped us in ways we don't even recognize. Even if it may have destroyed some practicality about love and relationships to make it all through the rose-colored glasses of a fairytale, it still hits us strong when we need a pick-me-up nostalgic, childhood film.
